The most important thing is to find a makeup routine that makes you feel confident and comfortable. It’s okay to experiment and try new products and techniques, but also trust your instincts and choose what makes you feel beautiful.

1. Lighten up on foundation: As skin becomes less firm, it’s best to use a buildable foundation system with multiple shades to match your skin that doesn’t settle into fine lines and wrinkles.
2. Use your lighter concealer sparingly: Too much concealer can draw attention to fine lines and wrinkles, so use it only where it’s needed and blend well.
3. Focus on the eyes: As skin loses elasticity, the eyes can become more prominent. Emphasize your eyes with a neutral eye shadow, eyeliner, and mascara.
4. Choose creamy textures: Creamy textures are more moisturizing and blend more easily into the skin, which can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
5. Add volume to the lips: As lips naturally thin with age, use a lip liner and a moisturizing lipstick to give them volume and shape.
